Star plan travel insurance is a comprehensive world-wide travel insurance policy available on either an individual or family basis exclusively to credit union members, providing extensive cover at competitive premiums.

Features of cover

• Covers up to 180 days travel in total in any one year/period of insurance.
• Maximum duration of any one trip is 60 days.
• Winter sports available subject to an additional premium of €25 per policy.
• Children under 23 living with and travelling with the policyholder can be included free under family cover.

Death Benefit Insurance

A separate Death Benefit Insurance is payable over and above the Loan Protection and Life Savings insurance.

Death Benefit Insurance is intended to help towards funeral expenses and is payable where members have joined before the age of 70 and were in good health at the time. The amount of cover is 1,200 Euro.
